Following manufacture every FEIN power tool is carefully inspected, tested, and is subject to FEIN Quality Assurance's stringent controls.

We guarantee precise construction and faultless material and have provided our products with the following manufacturer guarantee declaration. FEIN grants 1-year guarantee. It starts on the day the new power tool was sold to the user and covers material and construction faults.

3-year FEIN guarantee:
This guarantee period is extended to 3 years for all FEIN power tool purchased after 1/1/2005 (excepting FEIN high-frequency power tools, FEIN Accu Tec screw guns, FEIN Balancer, FEIN pipe processing tools, FEIN compressed air tools, FEIN battery packs and battery chargers) if the purchaser has registered within 4 weeks of the purchase date. Registration has to be done by the customer himself on the Internet under www.fein.com. The proof of registration, which has to be printed out immediately, is valid as the confirmation along with the original sales receipt, which shows the purchase date. Registration can be done only if the customer accepts the storage of the queried information.

In case of assertion of claims, the original sales receipt that shows the purchase date and the product name needs to be submitted.

Guarantee services are provided solely by FEIN and by companies explicitly authorised by FEIN.

Excluded from this warrantee are improper use such as overload or the use of non-permitted tools, use of force, damaging due to external influence such as dropping or striking, damages due to nonobservance of the instructions such as operation with wrong voltages or type of electricity, and regular operational wear from use under normal conditions.

Also excluded are partially or completely disassembled power tools.

Contractual or legal warrantee claims towards the retailer remain untouched by this manufacturer guarantee.
